  | Tree Ring Lab
Created by Tom Fenn (IGERT Trainee) and Linda Bolen (6th Grade Teacher)     Students will learn basic dendrochronology vocabulary as well as a basic history of dendrochronology. The concepts of dendrochronology are emphasized as students study tree ring cookies (cross sections) and work in groups to plot skeleton keys. These concepts are then used to hypothesize climate conditions of the growth years of the trees from the experiment. |
